The Need

Inexpensive and relocatable maintenance/shade shelters that are quick to erect and meet building code requirements for permanent structures.

The Project

The Summit Structures shelter is constructed using a galvanized steel Titan Series 4 Low Profile frame. The exterior fabric membrane is Summit’s DuraWeave® FR fabric. Duraweave fabric provides warranted durability, UV protection, cost-effectiveness and the ability to be recycled. The Florida Building Code required the shelter be designed for a wind load of 125 mph. For northern applications the shelter as installed is capable of supporting a maximum snow load of 33 pounds per square foot.
